Delicious food and great service!
Food was good and had to wait over half hour, busy Saturday night.
As an explorer, here's my spin. ..Good food and service. Tight little restaurant but it does not matter once seated. Definitely worth another visit.
Good service, always there for you, food is amazing and it doesn't take forever for the food to come and you know well that it's made freshly when you eat it. Friendly staff is also a plus! Good place to go with the family or group of close friends.
This is a very cosy restaurant nestled in the heart of China Town of Montreal. The seating is a bit cramped but the owner has still done his best to give privacy to customers. It is always very crowded but as the turn around time is fast customers don't need to wait for long. The quantity of food is good and so is the taste. The food is good but vegetarian people need to be alert. The vegetarian fried rice had egg for reasons best known to them. Ordering vegetarian dishes is very tricky especially because the Chinese waiters are not too helpful. People from India can go here for the best option of Chinese food however should not keep the taste from India while eating here. The service is really mediocre. No one greets or smiles. The waiters cannot give proper suggestions as their English is not good. The ones who serve keep changing. Overall value for money. Stars are only for the taste and going again is recommended.
Good food. Friendly staff that helped with the menue. Quantity are big so its always nice to share.
The best service I've received in a Chinese restaurant. Proactive and very quick and friendly. Dishes are fairly big and the fried rice was on point. Overall food was good but not excellent. Clean and charming atmosphere. They accept a good variety of payments. I would say though that the "sichuan" dishes are not what they should be, very very mild and not spicy enough.
food was delicious but in general, but the BBQ pork i ordered felt kinda soggy. you're better off booking a table around supper time.
We came here last night at 1:30 am, we wanted to try it because we saw good reviews here... but we encountered a very different story. The place was empty because it was a really bad weather day... maybe that's why our rice tasted SUPER old.. we couldn't even eat the chow main... We had a really bad experience with the food... service was good tho.
Cozy place on a cloudy, snowy day. The service was great, fast and attentive. The lemon chicken said it would come out sizzling, and it was sizzling. It’s kind of odd for a breaded, fried chicken to be sizzling like fajitas, but it sure was tasty, right down to the sliced onions.
Loved the food here, so tasty, fresh, and quick service. Servers are nice and they're open late. I used to sometimes eat there after my long and late shifts, prices were also affordable with good portions. I love the kung pao chicken and the good portion of veggies that come with it, and the general tao chicken is amazing. Can't wait to go back and taste the food again!
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Montreal. BY FAR, the best hot & sour soup in town (they add tons and tons of chunky shrimp, chinese mushrooms, tofu). No other hot&sour soup comes close. Fantastic Japanese tofu dishes as well as wonderful chow mein (highly suggest the beef in black bean sauce on top of the crispy noodles). Great customer service as well. Very friendly staff, very courteous and efficient. Always a go-to for me.
Great time going to this restaurant! Food is always good! Thx.
Fantastic place to get takeout or sit down! The minute my wife and I stepped through the door the person at the front greeted us very warmly! We are tourists from America and the fact that he spoke perfect English (very rusty on my French unfortunately) and even gave great recommendations was even better! Plus the food was awesome and well priced! We'll definitely be coming back here before our trip home!
The food was good, but smaller in portions than the regular Chinese restaurant. A bit pricey but was worth it. Taste great.! Recommend anytime.
Good quality Chinese food. Dishes are big. Best way is to order multiple dishes and share among the group. Reasonably priced. They accept major credit cards. Don't forget to take a nice walk around China town.
Lunch spécial is a good more expensive than the one restaurant around. However the prices is worth it!
Nice little spot in downtown Montreal. Food was great and prices were very good. I would go back there the next time I visit Montreal for sure
Where: Restaurant Beijing What: Large wonton, fried rice and vermicelli noodles How was it: It was great, we both loved the wonton soup which was a combination of shrimp and pork. The server was helpful and sympathetic. Aside from the wonton, the fried rice was delicious as was the vermicelli noodle plate. We were surprised to hit a great place in such a touristy part of Chinatown. The best part of it all was the price. It was very affordable, we ate to our liking and had leftovers to bring home ! Check this place out!Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 4.5 (service 5, food taste and presentation 4.5, restaurant ambiance 4.5)Recommend: Yes, we liked our experience and recommend the restaurant !
Very good Chinese food, big varied menu, something to please everyone!
One of restaurants in China town Montreal. Good selection of chinese dishes good for sharing.
Friendly, fast service for takeout. Pretty good General Tao's chicken. Would go again
Highly recommended. Great food, good prices, fine service and good portions. Every time when I am in the area hungry, I have no hesitation!!
Very tasty Chinese food, I'm a huge fan of it. There are some must try dishes, like the sesame beef and the calamari (they're a little bit spicy). The spring rolls are also very tasty but also fat and it's something I dislike from this dish. I have gone there just a couple of times and the staff has been very nice, attention also good and you get free tea when you actually eat in the restaurant (right now, due to COVID-19, eating in the restaurant is not a possibility) and it's a very good beverage to accompany your food.
My girlfriend and I had a delicious meal consisting of chicken with black bean sauce and a chicken chow mein. Appetizer were small but tasty won ton soups paired with giant spring rolls. Happy for under 40$
Good place for Chinese food. The food quality is good. Some dishes have big amount s of salt which makes them hard to eat without drinking water. A bit pricey too.
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've visited in Canada. The duck soup I ate was absolutely divine. The noodles I ordered were amazing, and I savored every dumpling. The staff was really friendly. The next time I'm in Montréal, I'll definitely be making another stop here.
One of my favorite places of Chinese cuisine. Food just tastes fab here! Good ambience and service. Service is pretty quick generally. The place is always crowded inspite of being very big. Portion sizes are huge! But you will anyways finish it all as it's tasty! Plethora of options would confuse u for sure!
$10-30 per person, large menu selection, good for filling the stomach.Opens late at night. The food was pretty good, and the staff was quite accommodating to menu choices, especially at 11:00 pm when we visited. Would I come back? When it's late and I need to feel full.Should you go? Yeah, worth a try.
Great classic place for evening dinner or after midnight snack. Love the wonton noodles. I've been coming here since I was a kid.I would recommend for a quick bite or some seafood.
This place is awesome! I was a skeptic. We stayed at Hotel Zero and arrived very late. They told us to go to Chinatown for dinner after midnight. I wanted something more "Canadian" for my first tripTo Canada so we walked a few blocks before deciding to try Restaurant Beijing. It was amazing. I will never forget eating snails in black bean sauce with Pork Mu Shu. I am a lucky, lucky boy.
Very amazing food, especially anything with their black bean sauce. The staff is very warm, welcome, friendly and considerate whether you eat there or order take-out. The waiters adapt what plates they give you depending on if you share with your friends or not. They also offer to give you ustensils or chopsticks if you order take-out. Definitely my favorite chinese restaurant because of these qualities. It also opens very late which is nice if you hang out downtown and want to eat somewhere at night.
Food was delicious, and ambiance and service were great.
Best Asian restaurant in Montreal; been coming here over 10 years! Never disappointed!
Value for money Great food Big servingGood staff 44$ /6 person
My go-to Asian chienese food, good for groups of 6-8
Remains open during crisis and continues to serve great food to its loyal customers. Take out only support this wonderful establishment.
Have been coming here for a few times now and not once been disappointed by the food quality. The service is quick and taste to die for. My favorite is the shrimps which are humongous, fresh and well prepared. Very single style is really delicately balanced. Highly recommend.
Not bad. Good service.
It's okay really. Not the best looking place food or tastier chinese food.
A homey sort of place. More of an old school Chinese restaurant from what I can tell. Not nouveau. I had vegetarian hot and sour soup, a veggie roll and the vegetarian szechuan eggplant. First two okay, only the eggplant was good. But I mean really really good. Also I liked the waiters, seasoned gents with a dry and gentle outlook on the world. I'd go again and pick my way through the menu a little more carefully.
Unprofessional Staff, They added 20% tip on my bill without asking me and my fault that i only realized after i paid. Tips is not something that is a MUST regardless, Tips is given as a gratuity to the waiter/waitress based on the quality of service. Understood ?!!
Good service. Love the Peking duck it was delicious.
The lobster in stir fry style was very delicious, with the flavour of the meat well preserved, tender and sweet.
They have amazing food! The portions are ridiculously big, which makes it worth the prices. If you're in Chinatown, you gotta eat here.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 26 years, since 1992, shortly after it first opened around 1989. Since then, I've happily been introducing friends and family to it's extensive menu.My favourites are the Sizzling Lemon Chicken, Sesame Beef, Chicken Corn Soup and the Peanut Dumplings. I love that at certain times of day, they serve you fresh orange slices to cleanse your palate.I have noticed that there is occasionally some meals that are not up to their usual stellar level -- and have discovered that this is due to it being different chefs working in the cuisine. (That's why I cannot give it the 5 star that it would otherwise deserve.)
The best sesame chicken I’ve ever had - this place is an absolute gem!
It is a great restaurant in Montreal, and too amount food. I would recommend to visit here. But little bit pricy.
Gross. Come here if you want your food smothered in MSG and cornstarch. My cantonese chow mein was disgusting. The corn was GREY. Will not return or recommend.
One of my favorite restaurants in China towns. Their soup and egg rolls were very my favorites. Their plum sauce is very good. No parking. Good for groups. Reservations not required.
